Abstrak

This research was conducted aiming to identify and interpret organizational culture profiles using the Organizational Culture Assessment Instrument (OCAI) as the key to success in improving the effectiveness and performance of the organization Muria Kudus University. The subjects in this study were faculty or staff at the University of the Muria Kudus have structural positions which are divided into two categories: (1) Top Leader: Rector at the University of the Muria Kudus (2) Level Leader: Provost, Dean, Vice Dean, Faculty Secretary, Chairman Studies Program, Head of Laboratory, Head of Administration, Head of Libraries, Head of Unit, Head of the Institute of Education, Head of Research, Head of the Institute of Community Services, Head of Quality Assurance, Head of Academic Administration Student Affairs. Number of Subjects 63 people. This study used research instruments such as questionnaires OCAI (Organizational Culture Assessment Instrument), which consists of six points matter. Each question has four points statement. Each research subject was asked to provide an assessment of each statement by giving a score between 1-100, and the amount of each point can not exceed 100. From the analysis of the data obtained, either from the leader (now) and the top leader (prefer) the organizational culture at the University of the Muria Kudus lead clan culture. This means there is congruence between the desire of the leadership to employees because it is in the same orientation of organizational culture is a friendly workplace where people share like a big family. Rector acts as a mentor, and have as a parent figure. Members are bound by loyalty, tradition, and commitment, and focus on long-term benefits of human resource development and emphasize the importance of integrity and morals.
