Abstrak

All the activities of teaching learning changes to online learning. Google Meet is one of online platform of online learning that can be used for online learning during the pandemic. At SMA PGRI 1 Pati all the English online learning uses Google Meet. The aims of this study is to find out the students’ perception of English online learning through Google Meet by SMA PGRI 1 Pati. This kind of research used qualitative research design. The participant of this research are 61 eleventh-grade students SMA PGRI 1 Pati. Data were collected by questionnaire and interviews. The data of this research collected by two instruments were questionnaire that given to 56 students and interview to 5 students of SMA PGI 1 Pati The result of this research showed that the students’ perception of English online learning through Google Meet in SMA PGRI 1 Pati is positive. It can be drawn with the students result of the questionnaire and interview. the result showed the students dominant agreement. It can be indicated that the students showed a positive perception of English online learning though Google Meet. By using Google Meet it makes the online learning more effective in the pandemic era. Also, Google Meet very useful and helpful during the pandemic. Moreover, Google Meet provides features to support online learning and gives a lot of benefit.
