Abstrak

invesment opportunities play an important role in corporate finance. firms invesment opportunity set (IOS)is unobversable sp, to know that, we must that to proxie. it classified in to four types. 1. price based proxies. 2. invenstment based proxies 3. varies=ns measure 4. composite ios proxies from individualo proxies. devident policy related to decision how to much earnings will be shareds to stockholders. the past great devidend will increase the future cast necessity. so, it will motivate to do the graeter loan an increase to the greater financial reverage too. a hight IOS showed hight risk will be received by lender. so that, cost of debt armor expensive than cost of equity. hight or low of IOS can be determine realted support about deviden policy and firm's leverage.
