Abstrak

Student learning difficulties have a negative impact on students which affects achievement and also the value of student learning outcomes in class. Student learning activities in class which are still low affect students' critical thinking abilities, so there is a need for effective learning models in learning so that students' critical thinking abilities increase. In learning, effective learning media is also needed to improve students' learning abilities. In this research, the researcher aims to analyze teachers' learning skills in an effort to improve students' critical thinking abilities through the TGT learning model using corner clock board learning media in mathematics learning. And also to improve students' critical thinking skills in learning mathematics. TGT is a cooperative learning model that uses tournaments or academic competitions with quizzes or questions. Where each group competes to solve the given problem. The corner clock board is a board that is used to make it easier for students to study material in corner material. The media itself was created to make students more interested in learning. Critical thinking ability is a person's ability to analyze ideas and ideas to find solutions to problems that occur. This classroom action research was carried out in class III of SD N Sridadi with research subjects 31 students and teachers which lasted for 2 cycles with each cycle lasting 2 meetings. Data collection techniques used include interview techniques, observation, tests and documentation. The data analysis used is qualitative data analysis and also quantitative data analysis. The results of the research prove that the application of the Teams Games Tournament learning model with the help of a corner clock board can improve students' critical thinking skills, and also improve teachers' teaching skills in mathematics subjects regarding corners for class III students at SD N Sridadi. In this research, teachers are expected to be able to apply the Teams Games Tournament learning model assisted by corner clock board media so that students can easily understand the corner lesson material being implemented.
