Abstrak
Basically, the gate functions as the main access for entry and exit. Access to and from the gate is generally driven by the guard manually, by pushing or pulling the gate. However, manually operated gates are sometimes difficult to open or close, and besides that, they are also less practical and efficient. The large number of vehicles going in and out means having to open and close the gate many times making it inefficient, apart from that there are indications of another problem, namely when there is no one guarding the gate, so vehicles can go in and out freely without any security, so this is felt to be inadequate. safe because everyone is free to enter and leave housing, which could lead to unwanted crimes. In this research, an Automatic Sliding Gate with PLC-Based RFID will be created to create energy and time efficiency. The methodology that will be used in this research is Research and Development, this research uses an Omron CP1E-N40SDR-A PLC with RFID sensor actuators, IR sensors, and a DC transmission motor as the driver of the sliding gate. The results of this research are a prototype of an Automatic Sliding Gate, a tool that can work automatically to open and close gates in housing, making the work of local guards or security guards easier, as well as increasing the security of access in and out of gates. In testing the ESP 32 CAM with a push button trigger, the success rate was only 40% out of 10 trials. So from 10 attempts only 4 images could be sent to Telegram. For other component testing, it has a high success rate.
