Key Words: Mathematics Learning Achievement, Piece This research is motivated by the indication learning achievement of students' mathematics is low. The indications contained in the fourth grade students of SDN 1 Gondangmanis as the research subject. It is marked by learning that still conventional and not oriented to reality. Mathematics learning atmosphere which tends to abstract and lead students to difficult studying mathematics, and eventually many students who are less interested and low math achievement. By using the piece of manila paper expected to improve students' mathematics learning achievement. The problems to be discussed and outlined in this study, "How can increase students' mathematics learning achievement fourth grade math students in the first semester of SDN 1 Gondangmanis in addition fraction material using the piece of manila paper?". The purpose of this study was carried out to discover "how many the learning achievement improved of fourth grade math students in the second semester of SDN 1 Gondangmanis in addition fraction material using the piece of manila paper". Usability study was (1) the usefulness of the theoretical, the piece of manila paper adds to the understanding to improving learning achievement fourth grade math first semester especially on addition fraction material SDN 1 Gondangmanis, (2) practical utility, (a) for research, provide teaching experience with the piece of manila paper; (b) For students, improving the understanding and mathematics student learning achievement; (c) For teachers, improve teacher motivation to create the conditions for learning interesting and fun; (d) For schools, basic improvements in school performance and improvement quality of learning, motivating teachers to develop a variety of fun learning models. Researchers hypothesized that the action proposed the piece of manila paper to improve learning achievement math first semester of fourth grade students at SDN 1 Gondangmanis summation matter fractions. The research approach using qualitative and quantitative to classroom action research the step are plan, act, observe and reflect. The method of data collection such as interviews, observations, tests, field notes and documentation. The Students' initial conditions before taking action gets classical completeness of 25% with an average of 53,1 in the first cycle increased to 43% with an average of 56,7 and the second cycle increased to 81% with a mean average 72,9. The individual student learning activities in the cycle I got an average of 59% with a qualifying "good enough" increased in the second cycle to be 67,5% with a qualifying "good". The conclusions of this research is by using the piece of manila can improve students' mathematics learning achievement, student learning activities, and teacher performance. Suggestions in this study, namely (a) teachers should pay more attention to the application of the material taught context, (b) the use piece if manila paper when teaching must be prepared carefully and properly manage the allocation of time, (c) the ability of students to change fractions into fractions worth and how to simplify fractions should be emphasized again, (d) the teacher is expected to give further attention and guidance for students who have not completed, (e) students should begin now to organize study groups, (f) expected future researchers can better understand and develop students learning
