Key words: Score of English National Examination, National Examination, English Achievement, Tenth Grade Students. The Score of National Examination is evaluation the students’ achievement that conducted by government using same test in the same time. National Examination is conducted to evaluate the English achievement for three years either in Junior High School or Senior High School. English achievement is result of an English evaluation in knowledge, skill, and attitude as the result of English learning showed by score. The tenth grade students are students who study at SMK NU Ma’arif Kudus in the academic year 2012/2013. This research aims to know the correlation between the score of English National Examination and the English Achievement of the Tenth Grade Students of SMK NU Ma’arif Kudus in the Academic Year 2012/2013. This is a correlation research. The populations of the research are all of the tenth grade students of SMK NU Ma’arif Kudus in the academic year 2012/2013. The sample that is taken by the researcher is 5% from each class. The instrument that used is the documentation of the students’ score of English National Examination in Junior High School and the students’ achievement of English in rapport (even semester) in Vocational School. The result of the research shows that: a) The National Examination of the tenth grade students of SMK NU Ma’arif Kudus in the academic year 2012/2013 is sufficient (The mean is 71.48 by standard deviation 35.62). b) The English achievement of the tenth grade students of SMK NU Ma’arif Kudus in the academic year 2012/2013 is very good (The mean is 85.24 by standard deviation 4.58). c) From the result of the correlation, it was found that r-calculated = -0.106 and r-table = 0.413 in the level significance 5% from degree freedom (df) N-2 (23-2 = 21). In other word, r-table is higher than r-calculated (rt > rxy). Therefore, it can be said that the hypothesis of the research is rejected, while the null hypothesis is confirmed. Based on the result of the research above, the researcher suggests that the English teacher can motivate the students to increase their English achievement although they got either bad or good score of English National Examination. And for the students, they are supposed to study hard in all condition either in daily learning process or in National Examination.
