                    Abstrak

                    This research is motivated by the learning achievement of students science’s subject is low. This is evidenced by the fact in fifth grade SD 3 Jojo Kudus. It is characterized by learning still conventional and oriented by the teacher. Based on the data, from 14 students only 6 students (42,86%) who achieved KKM (62), while 8 students (57,14%) have not reached the KKM. This study aims to obtain an increase student’s science learning achievement with the implementation of Think Pair Share learning model in the fifth grade SD 3 Jojo Kudus. Science learning achievement are the result whom students reach that changing cognitive, affective, and psychomotor abilities. Think Pair Share learning model is the way presenting the lesson which students are invited to discuss in pairs to solve the problems posed. The learning process is done by providing opportunities for students to think independently and also in groups. The hypothesis proposed is the use of Think Pair Share learning model improves science learning achievement in fifth grade students SD 3 Jojo Kudus. Classroom action research is conducted in SD 3 Jojo Kudus. Subjects of this research are fifth grade students totaled 14 students. This study takes place two cycles, for each cycle consisting of four stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The independent variable of this study is a Think Pair Share learning model. The dependent variable of this study is student’s science learning achievement in fifth grade SD 3 Jojo. The data collection techniques in this study include interviews, observation, testing and documentation. The instruments used in this study include interview, observation sheets, and achievement test while data analysis techniques include quantitative and qualitative. The result of this research showed that through TPS learning model can increase students’s science learning achievement. The students initial conditions before taking action gets classical completeness of 42,86% with an average of 66,28 in the first cycle increased to 71,43% with an average of 71,78 and the second cycle increased to 85,71% with a mean average 84,28. The individual student learning activities in the cycle I got an average of 72,42% with qualifying "high" increased in the second cycle to be 83,42% with a qualifying "very high". Teacher performance in cycle I get an average of 71% with a qualifying "good" increased in the second cycle to 92% with qualification "very good". The conclusions of this research is with the TPS learning model can improve students science learning achievement, student learning activities, and teacher performance. Suggestions for students, are expected to foster the spirit of cooperation and direct involvement in learning. Suggestions for schools, should provide facilities and learning resources that are adequate to support the quality of learning. Suggestions for further research, could be used as a reference in developing the scope of the study subjects, the material and the wider classes of different levels.
