Abstrak

The background of this research was the learning method of Civic Education on SDN Sukoagung still used conventional method. The Civic Education learning with this method gave little student’s involvement in learning so they became passive as listener only. The learning activity felt steady until students was bored in learning activity. It had the impact on the low students learning result at civic education. Starting at 16 students, there are 5 students had no reached minimal precentage of classical completeness.Base on that problem, the researcher got the problem formulation peneliti do the learning model of VCT (Value Clarification Technique)obtain to increase the students learning result and activity, also teacher skill in teaching on 5thGrade at Civic Education SDN Sukoagung Pati? Then this research had the aim to find how much increasing of the student learning result on 5thGrade at Civic Education SDN Sukoagung Pati by using learning model of VCT (Value Clarification Technique). The researcher has used VCT (Value Clarification Technique)as the learning model at Civic Education. Civic Education has meaning as education model that had some value decide attitude concern to the substantion of value and norm in the life. While the learning method of VCT (Value Clarification Technique)is the method to learn a value that give an opportunity to the students to fine, to reanalize, to decide a choise of the value that has believed, then to apply the value in the daily life. Base on the description above that the learning model of VCT is precise to apply in learning Civic Education, because it’s oriented to someone ability in deciding a choise concern to value and norm. By VCT, the student teacable to find, to reanalize, and to decide attitude concern to the values and norm in daily life. This research was action classroom research by Kemmis and McTaggart that have cycles pass through some phases, that are planning, action, observation and reflection. The researcher collected the data by observation method, tes, also documentation by used some instrument such as, observation instruction, test matter, also documentation of photo’s. Those data’s were analized by quantitative and qualitative technique. This result of research had reached in all succesfull indicator. The learning result had gotten at first cycle was 81,25% within “good” qualification increase to 94% within “very good” qualification an second cycle. The psychomotor of the students’s learning activity at first cycle was 65,5% within “good” qualification increase to 80,78% within “good ” qualification an second cycle. The affective of students’s learning activity at first cycle was 71% within “good” qualification increase to 86% within “very good” qualification an second cycle. The teacher’s skill at first cycle was 75,5% within “good” qualification increase to 90% within “very good” qualification an second cycle. The conclution base on the research has known that the student result and activity’s learning at Civic Education, also teacher’s skill in teaching be able to increase by the learning model of VCT (Value Clarification Technique). The researcher suggest to: (1) the parents to always motivate the children to study and to give a good facilitation in studying at home, (2) the students need to excersise to find an idea by their own mind and make a group discussion in studying, (3) The recent researcher are expected to understand and develop VCT learning model to minimize the deficiencies in learning activities.
