Abstrak

Local tradition and cultural heritage objects in Kudus is the public identity of the Kudus society as a wealth of local heritage. Local tradition and heritage objects of cultural heritage as part of the development value in education. Local traditions and heritage values of cultural heritage objects can be used as a source of learning that encourages social studies learning process effective, efficient and fun for students. Utilization of learning resources and heritage of the local tradition of cultural heritage objects is still not optimized for elementary school social studies learning, particularly for building an understanding of traditional values of local identity and whereabouts of objects of cultural heritage itself. Cultural heritage material is still focused on the tourism. Learning resources that are already available environment requires teachers creativity to change meaningful learning through interactive learning media. Illustrationmedia to help visualize environmental learning resources into images and stories for the historical value and character values in student elementary school. Historical values and character formed a generation that is able to preserve and apply the value of indigenous Indonesian culture in daily life.
