Abstrak

Informasi merupakan media penting yang berperan dalam pengambilan keputusan, informasi yang tepat sangatlah membantu, sebuah informasi juga dibutuhkan dalam pemilihan furniture yang tepat, cara berbelanja furniture rumah ini tidak sama dengan berbelanja bahan pokok. Pemilihan harus ekstra selektif mulai dari pemilihan material, harga, ukuran, model, maupun ketahanan produk. Karena itulah dibutuhkan sebuah sistem untuk menentukan pemilihan furniture yang cocok sesuai dengan kriteria-kriteria tersebut diatas. Metode yang digunakan dalam sistem ini adalah menggunakan metode TOPSIS yaitu metode pengambilan keputusan multi kriteria yang menggunakan prinsip bahwa alternatif yang terpilih harus mempunyai jarak terdekat dengan solusi ideal positif dan jarak terjauh dengan solusi ideal negatif.
