Abstract
Certainty factor merupakansebuahmetode yang digunakanuntukmenghitungnilaikepastian yang biasadisebutdengan measure of belief dannilaiketidakpastian yang biasadisebutdengan measure of disbelief yang dilakukandengancaramenambahkanpembobotanpadamasing-masingkriteriasehinggaakanmendapatkansuatunilai certainty factor. Metodeinisangatcocokapabiladigunakandalamhalmengukurapakahsuatuitupastiatautidakpasti. Dalamhalinimetode certainty factor digunakanuntukmendiagnosapenyakitgenetikpadamanusiasehinggaakanmendapatkankepastianapakah orang tersebutmemilikiriwayatpenyakitgenetikatautidak, tentunyadenganmelihatnilai yang didapatdarihasilperhitunganpembobotandarimasing-masingkriteria.
