Abstrak

The national Cigarette industry contributes 90 trillion rupiahs of revenues per year. The key to successful industry performance is to be able to create value for its customers, especially in the current era of globalization. This research is an empirical research with quantitative approach, which aims to test the hypothesis related to the influence of interaction of total quality management implementation, environmental uncertainty, organizational commitment, local culture "gusjigang" to managerial performance in cigarette industry in Kudus District. This study uses primary data, by means of distributing questionnaires with convinient sampling method, respondents from this study is the manager of production in the cigarette industry in Kudus District with a total sample of 35 respondents. Data analysis technique in hypothesis testing is MRA regression using SPSS version 22. The result of this research indicates that TQM implementation has significant effect on managerial performance and organizational commitment variable, environmental uncertainty and local culture can be moderate variable to managerial performance
