Abstrak

This research which was aimed studying the effects of various concentration and various period of immersion of teak shoot (Tectona grandis L.f) in Rootone-F solution. This research was conducted in Ngelo Karangbener Village Bae Sub-district of Kudus Regency, with altitude ± 57 m above sea level, implemented on 27 April 2017 until 20 July 2017. The experimental method applied in this research was the factorial type based on the Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) involving two factors as treatments and three replications (block as replication). The first factor of the Rootone-F concentration consisted of 3 levels, K1: 250 ppm, K2: 500 ppm, K3: 750 ppm and the second factor of soaking the Rootone-F solution also consisted of 3 levels, L1: 15 minutes, L2: 30 minutes , L3: 45 minutes, plus one control so that there are 10 combinations of treatments. The results showed that the concentration of 750 ppm (K3) gave the best result on the root quantity parameter with the average yield of 2.80 pieces and the fresh root weight with the result of 3.03 g. And for the duration of immersion showed the best treatment that is at 45 minutes (L3). As well as interaction between the two treatments on fresh root weight parameters with the best results on the K3L3 treatment which resulted in average fresh root weight 3.52 g at 12 MST cuttings age.
