Abstrak
This study aims to (1) find out the teacher's skills in applying the model of learning Make a Match and the media Puzzle can improve learning outcomes Social Studies material services and appreciate the role of the character in the proclamation of independence. (2) Knowing the application of models of learning Make a Match and the media Puzzle can improve learning outcomes Social Studies material services and appreciate the role of the character in the proclamation of independence. Make a Match is a learning model implemented measures looking for couples in the form of questions card and answers card. While the Puzzle is a medium in the form of pieces of pictures compiled. Research action class is implemented in the class V SD 5 Kandangmas with the subject of 21 students. The study lasted for two cycles, each cycle consists of four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Free variables are models Make a Match. While variables are bound is a result of learning. Tecniques data collection using the techniques of observation, interviews, tests, and documentation. Research instrument used the observation sheet teacher and student learning outcomes affective and psychomotor domain, interview guidelines, documentation and questions test. Data analysis techniques are used that is quantitative and qualitative data analysis. The results showed an increase in the skills of teachers in the teaching of an average 71% with criterion either the cycle I became 90% with criteria very well on cycle II. An increase in the results of the study the realm of cognitive, affective, and psychomotor. 1) Increased cognitive domain of learning results seen from the increase in the average grade on the cycle I 72% in cycle I became the 89% in cycle II. 2) Improved student learning outcomes affective domain from an average of 75% with good criteria on cycle I became 80% criteria on either the cycle II. 3) increase in psychomotor domain of learning outcomes on average 76% with the criteria of good cycle I became 80% criteria on either the cycle II. A summary of this research is the application of the model of learning Make a Match-assisted media Puzzle can improve the skills of teachers in managing their learning and enhance learning outcomes Social Studies grade V SD 5 Kandangmas.
