Abstrak

This research was done because mathematics learning achievement of the fourth grade students of SD 4 Mejobo is low, this data are gotten from the first observation. Objective of this classroom action research is to describe the improvement learning result and the students’ learning activities of the fourth grade students of SD 4 Mejobo Kudus in fragment material and also to describe the teachers’ activities in mathematics learning achievement in fragment material with apply Numbered Head Together (NHT) cooperative learning model helped by picture media. Numbered Heads Together (NHT) cooperative learning model is one of model cooperative learning where the students work together in group and every student in group use number then randomly the teacher calls the number from the students. Mathematic learning result is ability-ability that has by the students that is affective ability, cognitive, and psychomotor that got after reach or accept mathematic learning experience. The action hypothesis are follows: achievement civic education and management teacher learning by applying Numbered Heads Together (NHT) cooperative learning model using pictures fourth grade students of SD 4 Mejobo Kudus The design that used in this research has classroom action research consist of four steps such as planning, acting, observing and reflecting. These four steps made become cycle and the research was done in two cycles, they are cycle 1 and 2. The technique of collecting the data in this research is observation, interview, and documentation. Data that got from this research are the students’ learning result and management teacher learning. The result of this research shows that application of Numbered Head Together (NHT) model helped by picture media can improve mathematics learning achievement in fragment of the fourth grade students of SD 4 Mejobo Kudus. This is shows with the improvement of cognitive learning result side can be seen from the improvement the class average score at cycle 1 to cycle 2 it is from 73.05 become 84.77 and the criteria minimum score of the students is 72.73 % become 90.91%. Afective side the improvement the class average score at cycle 1 to cycle 2 it is from 67,84% become 86,59% with the good criteria become very well. Psycomotor side the improvement the class average score at cycle 1 to cycle 2 it is from 64,02% become 86,17% with the good criteria become very well. The improvement of the teacher’s learning management in cycle 1 to cycle 2 improve it is from average score 67.31% become 87.58% with the good criteria become very well. According to result of this research so it can be concluded that Numbered Heads Together (NHT) model helped by picture media can improve the mathematics learning achievement in fragment material of the fourth grade students of SD 4 Mejobo Kudus. It is shown with the learning result of the students are improve and also the teachers’ learning management and the students’ activities are improve too. Suggestion from the researcher is it better if the teacher in using cooperative learning model Numbered Heads Together (NHT) model should able creative in planting the concept to the students, in this research is fragment material. So the students can draw the learning can use games or media and sample tool that more innovative.
