Abstrak

This research aim to: 1. Knowing implementation action in guidance counseling action service group with simulation techniques of Eleventh Graders of SMK TKR WisudhaKarya Kudus in Academic Year 2015/2016, 2. Increasing self-potential students’ in controlling emotions after obtaining guidance counseling servicegroup with simulation techniqueof Eleventh Graders of SMK TKR WisudhaKarya Kudus in Academic Year 2015/2016. Emotion is a form change someone’s feelings which marked by behaviour of person when she or he in emotional. Group counselling is a guidance counseling given to a group of individuals or a student, society or family in order to take decision of problems faced by group. Guidance counseling servicegroup with simulation technique is an activity provided service which done in group. Techniques simulation conducted with combine both role play technique and group discussion for demonstrating the topic based on daily lifesituation. Hypothesis of this study are: 1. Service guidance counselinggroup with simulation technique can improve students’ potential in controlling the emotion of Eleventh Graders of SMK TKR WisudhaKarya Kudus in Academic Year 2015/2016. 2. Increasing self-potential students in controlling emotions through service group simulation technique of Eleventh Graders of SMK TKR WisudhaKarya Kudus in Academic Year 2015/2016”. This research is action counselling research (PTBK), done in 2 cycles (cycle I and cycle II) each cycle held in 3 meetings consist of four phases: Planning, Implementing, observing, and reflecting. The subject of this research were the eleventh graders of SMK TKR WisudhaKarya Kudus that 8 from 40 who still lack in controlling their emotion. Variable of this research were independent variable and dependent variable. Independent variable was: service group simulation technique and dependent variable was increasing self-potential students in controlling emotions. The method of collecting data in this research used interview, observation, and documentation. Analysis of the data was descriptive qualitative data analysis. Results of pre-cycle research about increasing self-potential students in controlling emotions of Eleventh Graders of SMK TKR WisudhaKarya Kudus obtain average score of 11 with percentage was 36% and less category (K). In the first cycle obtained an average score of 17 with percentage was 55% and enough category (C). Cycle II obtained an average score of 21, with a percentage was 68% and category good (B). So, there was an increasing of 31% compared with the cycle I. Based on the result of the discussion and analysis of data, the researcher concluded that the increasing self-potential students in controlling emotions, I cycle with average score of 17 with percentage was 55% and enough category (C), the second obtained an average score of 21, with a percentage was 68% and category good (B). Thus guidance counseling service group with simulation technique can improve self-potential students in controlling emotions of Eleventh Graders of SMK TKR WisudhaKarya Kudus. The result show there is 13% increasing from the first cycle into second cycle. So, hypothesis of guidance counseling service group with simulation technique can improve self-potential students in controlling emotions of Eleventh Graders of SMK TKR WisudhaKarya Kudus accepted because appropriate success indicator. Viewed from the findings the researcher suggested to: 1. For principle, expected to provide infrastructure facilities that support the implementation of guidance counseling service group with simulation technique. 2. For the teacher, expected to school counsellor provides guidance counseling service group related to improve self-potential students in controlling emotions so that students can control their emotion, have good attitude, and not easy to ignite emotions, 3. For students, expected there will be good benefits for their behaviour in controlling emotions after getting guidance counseling service group with simulation technique.
