Abstrak

ABSTRAK: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mempelajari pengaruh proses equal channel angular pressing (ECAP) terhadap kekerasan aluminium 1050. Batang aluminium 1050 dengan ukuran 9,5mm x 9,5mm x 70mm dilewatkan pada cetakan ECAP dengan sudut alur cetakan & 90o dan sudut busur ' 90o. Kekerasan bahan sebelum dan sesudah proses ECAP diperiksa dan dibandingkan. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa setelah proses ECAP, kekerasan aluminium 1050 pada penampang melintang sampel (bidang X) meningkat 38%, dan cukup merata. ABSTRACT: The aim of this work is to study the effects qual channel angular pressing (ECAP) process on the hardness of aluminum 1050. The size of 9,5mm x 9,5mm x 70mm bar of the aluminium 1050 was proced ECAP with & 90o and ' 90o. The hardness of material before and after process ECAP was inspected and compared.The results of this study show that after process ECAP the hardness on surface block (area X) aluminium 1050 increases 38%, and enough flat.
