Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh profitabilitas, net profit margin, leverage, ukuran perusahaan, reputasi auditor, devidend payout ratio, dan dewan komisaris independen terhadap perataan laba. Populasi penelitian yang digunakan adalah perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia tahun 2012-2016.Metode yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling yang menghasilkan sampel sebanyak 162.Teknik analisis yang digunakan yaitu analisis regresi linier berganda.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa net profit margin berpengaruh positif terhadap perataan laba.Leverage berpengaruh negatif terhadap perataan laba. Profitabilitas, ukuran perusahaan, reputasi auditor, devidend payout ratio, dan dewan komisaris independen tidak berpengaruh terhadap perataan laba.
