Abstrak

The aims of this research are to describe the improvement of students creative thinking, student learning activity, and teaching skill in the learning process through treffinger model assisted by diorama media in 5th theme Echosystem in 5th grade of SD 2 Undaan Lor Kudus. Creative thinking is the thinking of finding answer, or express various ideas using better new idea or better new way to solve problems. Treffinger is a model emphasize and encourage students to learn creatively in solving problems, stating a new idea and give a right solution to solve problems. The research hypothesis is the implementation of treffinger model can improve students creative thinking assisted by diorama media in 5th theme Echosystem in 5th grade of SD 2 Undaan Lor Kudus. This classroom action research was conducted in the 5th grade of SD 2 Undaan Lor consist of 23 students. The research was conducted in two cycle, every cycle consists of 4 stages, planning, implemetation, observation, and reflection. The dependent variable in this research is students creative thinking. Besides, the independent variables are treffinger model and diorama model. The research instruments are observation, interview, documentation, and test. The research result shows that there is an improvement os sudents creative thinking in cognitive aspect in the 1st cycle reach the average of 74,34 and shows an improvement in the 2nd cycle that reach the average of 83,91. Students creative thinking in the psychomotor aspect in the 1st cycle reach the average of 81,08, and shows an improvement in the 2nd cycle in the average of 87,03. Students activity in the 1st cycle reach the average of 78,36 and shows an improvement in the 2nd cycle 87,06. The teaching skill also shows an improvement with the score 69 in the percentage 69% in the 1st cycle and get improved into 84% in the 2nd cycle. The result shows that the the implementation of treffinger model can improve students creative thinking assisted by diorama media in 5th grade in the 5th theme echosystem in SD 2 Undaan Lor Kudus. Based on the classroom action reserch result conducted in the 5th grade of SD 2 Undaan Lor Kudus can be concluded that the implementation of treffinger model assisted by diorama media can improve the student creative thinking in the 5th theme echosystem in 5th grade of SD 2 Undaan Lor Kudus. Therefore, the suggestion is that the student should be skilled and innovative in implementing the treffinger model assisted by diorama to build the enthusiastic and student participation in the learning process.
