Abstrak

The problem in this study is the lack of regulating learning time for students. The problem is "is the ability to manage learning time for students of class XI Science 1 of SMA Negeri 1 Mayong Jepara can be improved through group guidance services with self management techniques?". The purpose of this study is to find out the improvement in managing learning time for students through group guidance services with self management techniques. This type of research used is the study of guidance and counseling action with 2 cycles of each cycle using the stages of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. While the research method used is descriptive qualitative as a data analyzer. Based on the results of research in the implementation of group guidance services with self management techniques in the first cycle, it was obtained 59 results with a percentage of 59% included in the category enough. In the second cycle increased so as to obtain 81 results with a percentage of 81% included in the good category. While regulating the learning time for students of class XI Science 1 in the pre-cycle obtained an average result of 142 with a percentage of 28.4% included in the category of very less, in the first cycle, the average yield was 27.3 with a percentage of 54.6% included in enough category, in cycle II get an average result of 37.8 with a percentage of 75.6% included in the good category. The advice given is to 1). For School Principals: expected to be able to provide facilities and infrastructure facilities that support in the implementation of group guidance activities with self management techniques so that guidance and counseling services can run smoothly. 2). For Teachers: it is expected that school counselors provide group guidance services related to improving the ability to manage learning time. 3). For Students: it is expected that after getting group guidance services with self management techniques students will get good benefits in their daily lives especially with regard to the ability to manage learning time. 4). For Researchers: To develop further research then in carrying out actions in an effort to improve the ability to manage learning time through group guidance services with self management techniques to be more varied and innovative.
