Abstrak

Kabupaten Jepara terletak pada posisi 3 23’23’’-4 09’35” bujur timur dan 5 43’30”-6 47’44” lintang selatan. Luas 100.413,189 Ha atau sekitar 1.004,13 km, meliputi 16 kecamatan, 183 desa dan 11 kelurahan. Salah kecamatan yang ada di Kabupaten Jepara adalah Kecamatan Kota Jepara. Kecamatan Kota Jepara meliputi 16 desa dan memiliki luas wilayah 2.466,701 Ha atau 24,66 Km. 16 desa yang berada di Kecamatan Kota Jepara mempunyai potensi daerah yang beraneka ragam. Atas permasalahan tersebut maka diangkat dalam bentuk laporan skripsi dengan judul “Sistem Informasi Geografis Potensi Daerah Kabupaten Jepara”. Sistem Informasi Geografis Potensi Daerah Kabupaten Jepara membahas tentang potensi daerah yang ada di Kabupaten Jepara khususnya pada Kecamatan Kota Jepara. Dari sistem ini bisa diperoleh informasi mengenai potensi daerah ditiap – tiap desa yang berada di Kecamatan Kota Jepara, selain itu juga pada sistem ini bisa menampilkan nama desa beserta potensi daerah yang dimiliki desa tersebut dan nama desa yang berbatasan dengan nama desa yang memiliki potensi daerah, sehingga memudahkan masyarakat umum untuk mencari nama desa yang berada di Kecamatan Kota Jepara yang memiliki potensi daerah.
