Abstrak

Every kind of analysis theories dominant on its times, each of them has its advantages and disadvantages along with the time and human being needs development. This become prosperous field for scientific research about literary. And more if the object has been documented, in form of text or record either, so there’s no reason to say not to do literary work analysis deeply and scientifically. Literary analysis theories by literary reception model had been developed since 1970s, at first by Mukarovsky, that then perfected by Jauss, Iser and Segers, Juhl, and Holub. Hereafter this analysis model develops in Indonesia. In contrast to any earlier literary analysis which points up analysis based on its literary work result, in reception analysis, it just features the element of reader response to literary work. Therefore, the outline of literary reception research based on (1) A work which viewed in connected with how to react with his reader, that reaction is determined by the phenomena that exist in that literary work itself; (2) A work becomes concrete through an acceptation of it’s the reader, so it leave impression for them. The reader must concrete and reconstruct it; (3) The reader imagination is possible by the familiarity with tradition, the capability of understanding situation on its term, and also about the earlier term; (4) Through impression, the reader can state their acceptation in form of comments, or in form of another work which is connected with that work.
