Abstrak

This research has been conducted the teacher’s ability in controlling classroom management in teaching Civics Education still uses a conventional method, that is why the students are inactive in the process of teaching and their achievement is still low. Based on the background its self, the writer wants to oversee its problem using the teaching method of cooperative learning models type of Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) . Based on this issue so study question what is cooperative learning type of Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) improve the fourth grade students’ achievement of SDN 3 undaan Lor Kudus in Civics Education a Globalitationsubject? The objectives of the research here is to describe application cooperative learning models type of Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) can improve the fourth grade students’ achievement of SDN 3 Undaan Lor in Civics Education a Globalitationsubject? Student Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) one type of cooperative learning models using small groups with the total membership of each group of 4-5 students heterogeneously. Student Teams Achievement Division is consists of five components: 1) classroom presentation, 2) Team, 3) quiz, 4) individuals progres score and 5) team recognition. Civics Education Achievement is the valuing which accepted by the students in the following civics education learning process. Hypothesis actions in this research is implementation of Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) model to improve the fourth grade students’ SDN 3 Undaan Lor Kudus in Civics Education a Globalitationsubject This research was conducted in SDN 3 Undaan Lor Kudus using action research method of Kemmis and Mc Taggart. The independent variable of this research is cooperative learning models type of Student Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD. Meanwhile the dependent variable is improving fourth grade students’ achievement of SDN 3 Undaan Lor Kudus in Civics Education subject (Globalitation). Techniques of collecting data are observation, Test, and documentary. The way in analyzing the data uses quantitative way and qualitative way. The results of this researchs hows that the learning outcomes of learning civics Education through cooperative learning models type of the Student Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) creased, it is proven that in this research is student learning outcomes improving the skills of teachers, and student activities. Cycle I learning outcomes gained an average value of 70 with classical completeness 71,4%, the cycle II an average 80 with classical completeness 85,7%. Cycle I an average of teacher’s skill is 65% with a good qualification, cycle II 75% with very good qualifications. While the average student activities in cycle I gained 61% with good qualifications and 81% in second cycle with very good qualifications. The over all results of teachers’ skills and students activities are good. The conclusion of this researchis learningCivics Education through cooperative learning models type of Student Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) can improve student learning outcomes. The suggesti on that can be delivered is cooperative learning models type of the Student Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) needs tobe learning Civics Education the classroom because the learning models can improve student learning outcomes. Teachers must be able to motivate students to be more activein the learning by doing intensive guidance.
