Abstrak

The background of this research is the students’ achievement of PendidikanKewarganegaraaansubject is low. It could be seen from the mean score of the students’ achievement is 57 and KKM 22%. The statement of the problem of this resecrh is How is the improvement of the students’ achievement of PendidikanKewarganegaraan subject in globalisasi material by using cooperative learning of PQ4R of the forth grade students of SDN 3 Bae, Kudus in academic year 2013/2014? Then the purpose of the research is to find out whether the Improving students’ achievement of PendidikanKewarganegaraan subject in globalisasi material by using cooperative learning of PQ4R of the forth grade students of SDN 3 Bae, Kudus in academic year 2013/2014. The students’ achievement is the results obtained after the student learning. One of learning model type in cooperative learning is PQ4R. There are six step to use PQ4R: preview, question, read, reflect, recite and review. The hypothesis of this research is PQ4R can improve the students’ achievement of PendidikanKewarganegaraan subject in globalisasi material by using cooperative learning of PQ4R of the forth grade students of SDN 3 Bae, Kudus in academic year 2013/2014. This Classroom Action Research conducted in two cycles. And the procedure action research consists four step, they are Planning, Action, Observation and Reflection. The subject in this research is all of the forth grade of SDN 3 Bae, Kudus in academic year 2013/2014. The data analysis used quantitative description and qualitative description. The result of this research used PQ4Rcan improve the students’ achievement of PendidikanKewarganegaraan subject with the material about Globalisasi of the forth grade students of SDN 3 Bae, Kudus in academic year 2013/2014.The result of analyze data of cognitive aspect got pre cycle57 (22%), then cycle I68 (52%) and cycle II 76 (89%) which supported by the students activity in learning PendidikanKewarganegaraan Subject 60,39% (sufficient criterion) in cycle I and 68,23% (good criterion) in cycle II. The teacher’s skill in this learning used PQ4R can improve with the result 67 (active enough) in cycle I and 82 (active) in cycle II. The conclusion of this research is PQ4RTipe model cooperative learning can improve students’ achievement of PendidikanKewarganegaraan subject in globalisasi material PQ4R of the forth grade students of SDN 3 Bae, Kudus in academic year 2013/2014. The suggestion in this research is it is better to give an opportunity to the teacher to more active in attending some activities, so they can add their knowledge and the student are able to be aware and they can learn in group, because learning in group can help them to solve the problem.
