Abstrak

The background of the research is the result study of naturale studiesof the fourth grade students in SD 3 Kajarwas low. The problem is caused the teacher still used conventional learning method. This is becaused learning process in the primary conditions that teachers are still using conventional method that uses occational teacher and gives some quation to students difficult to understand about the concept. Students also do not included in learning process, so the achievements are low. Consequently, students will get bored, play by themselves, and day-dreaming. Because using the methode which made students busy by them self in the classroom. The purpose of this research is to describe the result of student’s achievement, activity of student’s study, and sdministering teacher to the science subject heat transfer to the grade of fourth SD 3 Kajar Kudus. This research is classroom action research used design PTK by Kemmis& Mc. Taggart. Research was implemented in 2 cycles, each cycles consist of two appointment. Each cycles used 4 steps, they are planning, action, observation and reflection. The research subject are the fifth grade students in SD 3Kajar. Data collecting technic used are test, observation, documentation, and interview. The instrument used list of evaluation test, question in interview, and observation sheet. Data analyze technic of this classroom action research used data analyze technic quantitative and qualitative. The result of this research has begun from the earlier condition that means the result of students study of science. They get success score 27% with the average 60. There is an imporvement in result of students study of heat transfer sicklus I 63,63% and get improvement up to 100% in sicklus II. The activity of students study increase in sicklus I to sicklus II that is to be 2,35 until 3,15. This case indicates that imprevement in teacher’s administering when doing the action research using teaching-learning inquiry. Base on the result of this action research in the class wich has been done in the grade of fourth SD 3 Kajar can be concluded that the implementation of using inquiry can improve the result of student study in chapter heat transfer. The suggestion of this research is students can more active interact with her group in sharing tasks and task and also the teacher should provide learning visual media audio and concrete objects to create a fun classroom situations so as to encourage students to be more interested in learning.
