Abstrak

Background of this research is the low score of social learning result of the fourth grade students of SD 3 Jepangpakis. Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM) which get from the pre observation. The learning completeness classical on the mid semester test 1 only reach 48.15% with the class average score is 61.29. The objective of this research is to improve learning result, learning activities, and the teachers’ management in social learning process with use cooperative learning model Two Stay Two Stray helped by comic medium of the fourth grade students of SD 3 Jepangpakis. Cooperative learning model Two Stay Two Stray is learning group with by discuss around the group and every member of group has own duty are be stay and invite (stray). Syntax in cooperative learning Two Stay Two Stray are (1) the teacher divide the group, (2) the teacher divide learning material, (3) the students discuss in group, (4) the students around the group (stay and stray), (5) the students come back to their first group, and (6) the students have presentation. The kind of this research is Classroom Action Research (CAR), which is done in 2 cycles; every cycle consists of two meeting. Every cycle through four stages, are planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. This research located in SD 3 Jepangpakis. Subject in this research is the students and teacher class of the fourth grade SD 3 Jepangpakis in academic year 2013/2014 with total of the students 27, which consist of 14 men and 13 women. Technique collecting data is observation, interview, test, and documentation. Technique analyzing data that used are quantitatively and qualitatively. The result of this research showed that social learning by using cooperative learning model Two Stay Two Stray helped by comic medium can: (1) improve the students’ learning result, they are from average score in pre cycle 61.29 with classical learning completeness 48.15%, in cycle 1 the average score increase become 66.33 with classical learning completeness 63%, in cycle 2 the students’ average score also increase become 73.04 with classical learning completeness 81.48%, (2) the students’ learning activities (affective), in social learning is showed that there is the improvement from cycle 1 to cycle 2, they are in cycle 1 get the percentage of average score 57.5% with sufficient criteria become 72% with good criteria,the students’ learning activities (psychology), in social learning is showed that there is the improvement from cycle 1 to cycle 2, they are in cycle 1 get the percentage of average score 56.5% with sufficient criteria become 75% with good criteria, (3) the teacher’s management in social learning by using cooperative learning model Two Stay Two Stray helped by comic medium get the average score 65.5% with good criteria in cycle 1 and increase in cycle 2 become 88.5% with very good criteria. The conclusion can be state that by using cooperative learning model Two Stay Two Stray helped by comic medium can improve social learning result of the fourth grade students of SD 3 Jepangpakis Kecamatan Jati Kabupaten Kudus in academic year 2013/2014. There is suggestion that be given by the researcher, they are the teacher should can apply cooperative learning model Two Stay Two Stray and comic learning medium for social subject.
