Abstrak

This study aims to 1. Describing the students' interest in further studies before and after media information services with a movie in class VIII SMP 1Dawe in academic year 2015/2016. 2. Find how big increase in skills in information services counselor with the medium of film to raise further studies in class VIII SMP 1 Dawe in academic year 2015/2016. Interestsisof the individual tendency to be attracted to an object, or please some object, the stronger or near of relationship the greater interest. Specialisation studies learners in further education provision is not limited to the selection and determination, but also included the further step that is mentoring, development, distribution, and practise further evaluation. Service information is a counseling service provided to individuals on various matters in accordance with the need to provide knowledge and insight in order to achieve the proper purpose and direction. Media movie is a live picture (motion picture) is a series of still images that glides quickly with projected so that the impression of movement and life. The hypothesis of this study is media information services with the film can increase the interest of further studies through the eighth grade students of SMP 1 Dawe in academic year 2015/2016. Research carried out an action research counseling (PTBK) conducted in SMP N 1 Dawe Kudus in the school year 2015/2016. The study lasted for 2 cycles,each cycle held 3 meetings consists of four phases: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Subjects in this study were students of class VIII SMP N 1 Dawe Kudus Academic Year 2015/2016, which totaled 32. Variables is an information service with the medium of film. While the Variable Bound is interest in further studies. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. Analysis of the data used in this research is descriptive qualitative data analysis. The observation of collaborator to researchers when providing information to the media movie I cycle the first meeting there were 32 students (100%) in the category less. In the first cycle 3 student(9%)meeting II are included in the category enough, 29 students (91%) entered in the poor category. In cycle I 3 meeting, there were 24 student (75%) in the category enough, 8 student (25%) entered in the poor category. Interest in further studies in grade 8 SMP 1 Dawe in media information services with a movie on the second cycle of meeting 1 total score of 949 with an average of 30% in the category enough. In the second cycle at a meeting 2 obtained a score of 1094 with an average of 34% in both categories. In the second cycle 3 meeting obtain a total score of 1317 with an average of 41% in both categories. Based on the research results, it can put forward suggestions as follows: 1) For Principals, Principals should take the policy about service information with the medium of film to raise get requested further studies in the school plan. 2) For Teachers, counselors counseling Teachers are expected to provide information services for students who have a low interest in further studies. 3) For Students, Students are expected to increase interest in further studies with active students through information services held in school. 4)For researchers, to provide knowledge and experience as a prospective teacher or counselor to provide guidance and counseling services, in particular the interest of further studies students with the medium of film.
