Abstrak

The objective of this research are: 1. Describing the implementation of counseling group services with simulation techniques to overcome the fear of doing a task in front in students class X C SMA N 1 NalumsariJepara in academic year 2015/2016, 2. Helping overcome the fear of doing a task in front of the classroom through counseling group services with simulation techniques in students class X C SMA N 1 NalumsariJepara in Academic Year 2015/2016. Fear is a condition where the individual cannot be calm in dealing with emotions that churned in him, so it will affect not good on the way of life that run. Counseling Group Service is an effort to help individuals to guide and solve a problem by using group dynamic. The type of this research is Action Research Guidance and Counseling. The subjects of the research are students of class X C, as many as eight students who have the ability to overcome fear of doing a task in front of the class in low grade. The research variables: the counseling group with simulation techniques (independent variables) and the fear of doing a task in front of the class (the dependent variable). Methods of data collection, the main method of observation, a backup method is interview and documentation. The writer analyses the data by using qualitative descriptive. Based on observations before and after counseling grup with simulation techniques. It can be concluded that in precycle stage, fear of doing a task in front of the class who experienced 8 students of class X C SMA N 1 NalumsariJepara. Showed the mean score is 17 (34%) and category is very less. After gave a counseling group services with simulation tevhniques in the cycle I get the mean score 27.3 (54.6%) as categories sufficient and the second cycle obtain the results mean score of 37.3 (75.6%) categorized good, it had increased 20.3 (40.6%) from pre-cycle. Based on discussion and analysis in the type it can be concluded thatcounseling group services with simulation tevhniques can be overcome Students who afraid doing a task in front of the class in tenth grade of SMA NegeriJepara. Showed before gave a counseling group services with simulation tevhniques,overcome fear of doing a task in front of the class in low gradeget the mean score 17 (34%) and category is very less. After gave a counseling group services with simulation tevhniques in the cycle I get the mean score 27.3 (54.6%) as categories sufficient and the second cycle obtain the results mean score of 37.3 (75.6%) categorized good, increased 20.3%. It can concluded that hypothesis can ce accepted because it has met the indicator of success. Seeing the findings in the field, the writer gave suggestions to: 1. Headmaster, provide infrastructure facilities to the teacher guidance and counseling in order to perform his duties as a counselor specifically to overcome the issue of fear doing a task in front of the class. 2. The counselor, the counselor should do his job as well so can help the problems of students in fear doing a task in front of the class. 3. Students, students should be able to overcome the problem of fear doing a task in front of the class by using group dynamic within the counseling group services so it can overcome the fear of doing a task in front of the class that faced by each student. 4. For someone who wants to conduct similar research, the writerexpected to be able to distribute the skills and experience gained during the study guidance and counseling actions, especially concerning the effectiveness of group counseling with simulation techniques to overcome fear of doing a task in front of the class experienced by each student.
