Abstrak

application of self-management technique group guidance in overcoming learning saturation in SMP 2 Nalumsari Jepara students. (2) Describing the alleviation of learning boredom in SMP 2 Nalumsari Jepara students by implementing self-management technique group guidance. Study saturation is a condition in which students of SMP 2 Nalumsari Jepara feel physically and psychologically tired, which is marked by a lack of concentration or listening to what the teacher says; not willing to teach assignments (PR), quickly forget the lesson; learning outcomes achieved will not be maximal; slow in managing the information (lessons) delivered by the teacher; low enthusiasm for learning, either at school or at home. Self-management technique group guidance is a service in counseling guidance used by researchers in reducing learning saturation at SMP 2 Nalumsari Jepara by teaching self-management skills to group members. The type of research is Counseling Guidance Action Research. The subjects studied were seven students of SMP 2 Nalumsari Jepara. Data collection techniques using observation and interview techniques. The data analysis used is a mixed method technique by combining quantitative data analysis and reinforced with qualitative data in order to obtain stronger research conclusions. The results of the study found that before giving self-management technique group guidance, the condition of learning saturation in the research subject was 17.6 (58.6%) category (Very High). After giving self-management technique group guidance in the first cycle, the condition of learning saturation in students was reduced to a score of 14.6 (48.8%) category (High). The study was continued to cycle II and again obtained a decrease in the learning saturation score on the research subject, with a score of 9.7 (32.2%) category (Low). Based on the results of the study, the action hypothesis which reads: (1) "Self management technique group guidance can overcome learning saturation in students of SMP 2 Nalumsari Jepara", is accepted because it has achieved a success indicator of 75% category (Good). (2) "Learning boredom for students of SMP 2 Nalumsari Jepara can be overcome with the guidance of a self-management technique group", accepted because it has achieved the specified success indicator of 32.2% category (Low). The conclusions conveyed by the researchers are: (1) The application of self-management technique group guidance in overcoming learning saturation in students of SMP 2 Nalumsari Jepara was carried out in two research cycles. Researchers as service providers get a score in the first cycle of 54% category (Enough). In the second cycle, the researcher obtained a score of 75% in the (Good) category. (2) The learning saturation of SMP 2 Nalumsari Jepara students has decreased. The pre-cycle period is known to have learning saturation of 17.6 categories (Very High), the first cycle is known to have a learning saturation score of 14.6 categories (High), the second cycle is 9.7 categories (Low). Suggestions submitted by researchers are: (1) Students should be more enthusiastic about participating in learning, and can consult to solve problems faced through the role of Guidance and Counseling teachers at SMP 2 Nalumsari Jepara. (2) Guidance and counseling teachers should use self-management techniques to help overcome student boredom in the future. In addition, guidance and counseling teachers should be able to develop the application of self-management techniques to overcome other obstacles that students at SMP 2 Nalumsari Jepara may have. (3) The principal should continue to support the implementation of the guidance and counseling program at SMP 2 Nalumsari Jepara so that various obstacles faced by students can be immediately helped. (4) Future researchers should use self-management techniques in the context of different problems, so that they can be used as comparison materials.
