Abstrak

This study aims to examine the Effect of Profitability, Leverage, Company Size, Company Age, Board of Directors Size, and Independent Board of Commissioners on Corporate Social Responsibility in the Mining Sector Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2017-2022 Period. The population in this study is all Mining Sectors listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2017 2022 totaling 28 companies. The sampling method used in this study is the purposive sampling technique. Purposive sampling is sampling based on certain considerations or criteria in accordance with the objectives of the study. The analysis technique used is multiple regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that partially the Profitability variable has no effect on CSR. Leverage has a positive effect on CSR. Company Size has a positive effect on CSR. Company Age has a positive effect on CSR. The size of the Board of Directors has a positive effect on CSR. The Independent Board of Commissioners has no effect on CSR. Simultaneously, the Independent Board of Commissioners, Profitability, Company Age, Company Size, Board of Directors Size, and Leverage simultaneously have a significant effect on CSR.
