Abstrak
This study aims to (1) describe improvement in teacher teaching skills. (2) describe improvement in student learning outcomes in social studies learning through the Make A Match learning model of material that respects the diversity of ethnic groups and cultures in Indonesia's fifth grade SD 1 Mojoluhur Pati. The classroom action research was conducted in the fifth grade of SD 1 Mojoluhur Pati with the subject of five grade teacher and fifth grader students, amounting to 32 students. The independent variable is the learning model of Make A Match and the dependent variable is teaching skills of teachers and social studies learning outcomes. Data collection techniques used observation techniques, interviews, tests, and documentation. The results of this study show that the learning of sosial studies through Make A Match learning model is increased in every cycle. Percentage of teacher skill of cycle I showed teacher learning management get the average percentage that is 72% with good criterion. While the second cycle increased to reach an average percentage of 87.5% with very good criteria. Percentage of learning outcomes in the cognitive domain at prasiklus 37,5%, then after doing research of cycle I become 71,87% and increase in cycle II become 84,37%. Percentage of learning outcomes in the affective domain in the first cycle classical average of 66,54% with moderate criteria, then increased in cycle II with an average percentage of 82,98% with high criteria. The percentage of learning achievement psychomotor domain in cycle I mean percentage that is 66,15% with moderate criterion. Then increase in cycle II with average percentage of 85,15% with high criterion. Based on the results of classroom action research conducted at SD Mojoluhur Pati can be concluded that the model of learning Make A Match in the subject of teaching skills of teacher skills and student learning outcomes increased. The researcher advises that teachers should innovate learning models so that students are more enthusiastic in learning, and to the school should provide support and opportunities to teachers by holding training to improve the skills of teachers in mastering methods or innovative learning models so that sosial studies subjects can be implemented With fun.
