Abstrak

Background of this research is the lowness of writing skill of narrative essay of 4th grade students of SD 2 Kesambi. It is based on the result of previous observation showed that 62% 4th grade students of SD 2 Kesambi have difficulties on developing the idea because of the teacher often using conventional model, not using media of learning. Therefore, implementation of Consept Sentence model assisted by media comic is hoped can improve writing skill of narrative essay of 4th grade students of SD 2 Kesambi. The statement of the problem of this research are (1) how is the activity of learning process of 4th grade students of SD 2 Kesambi on implementation of learning model Consept Sentence assisted media comic to improve writing skill of narrative essay, (2) how is the teacher skill on implementing learning model of Consept Sentence assisted by media comic to improve writing skill of narrative essay, (3) how is the improvement of writing skill of narrative essay after implementing learning model of Consept Sentence assisted by media comic. The objective of this research are (1) describing activity of students learning of 4th grade students of SD 2 Kesambi on implementation learning model of Consept Sentence assisted by media comic to improve writing skill of narrative essay, (2) describing teacher skill on implementing learning model of Consept Sentence assisted by media comic to improve writing skill of narrative essay, (3) describing improvement of writing skill of narrative essay after implanted learning model of Consept Sentence assisted by media comic. Writing skill of narrative essay is an skill of someone on writing an essay to tell past event that happened or story that is added imajination by the writer. Learning model of Consept Sentence is a learning model that is begined by conveying competence, learning material, grouping, giving key words to be developed become a sentence and paragraph, group presentation and learing conclusion. Media comic is serial picture that will create a story, expressing and telling the picture more detail than series picture. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) that is implementing 2 cycles with learning model of Consept Sentence assisted by media comic with steps (1) planning, (2) action, (3) observation, (4) analysis and reflection. Method to collect the data using tes, observation, interview, and documentation. Technique to analyse the data that is used are qualitative and quantitative. The result of cycle 1 showed student activity on cycle 1 reached 73% belongs to high qualification and having improvement on cycle II reached 89% belongs to very high qualification. Teacher skill on learning of cycle 1 reached 75% belongs to high qualification and having improvement on cycle II become 91% belongs to very high qualification. The last result of writing narrative essay mark showed completeness on cycle 1 reached 71% belongs to high qualification and on the cycle II improved become 91% belongs to very high qualification. Conclusion of this research is the implementation learning model of Consept Sentence assisted by media comic can improve writing skill of narrative essay and teacher skill on managing the learning of Indonesian subject on writing narrative essay of 4th grade students of SD 2 Kesambi. Suggestion of this research, students should be brave to convey their opinion, more over team work is needed to reach the maximum result. The teacher should using innovative learning model and create the fun situation learning. The school should provide tools that is needed to support learning process.
