Abstrak

This study aims to improve teacher skills and student learning outcomes in Civics subject matter village government system improve learning outcomes Civics using role playing learning models. The role playing learning model is a learning model aimed at helping students find themselves in their social world and solving dilemmas with the help of groups. The selection of role playing learning models is felt right because the learning process is more fun so that it can make learning more meaningful in the eyes of students and can improve teacher skills and student learning outcomes. Classroom action research was conducted in class IV of 02 Dongos Jepara State Elementary School with 22 research subjects. This study lasted for 2 cycles, each cycle consisting of four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The independent variable is the role playing learning model. While the dependent variable is the civic education learning outcomes. Data collection techniques in this study used interviews, observation, tests and documentation. Data analysis techniques used qualitative and quantitative data analysis. The results of the study show that civic education learning through role playing learning models increases every cycle. The percentage of teacher skills in cycle I was 71% (good), then increased in cycle II 83% (good). The percentage in the cognitive domain of the first cycle was 72.72% (good), then increased in the second cycle 81.81 (good). While the percentage of affective learning outcomes in the first cycle was 66.58% (good), increased in the second cycle 76.02% with a good category with an average in the first cycle and the second cycle reached 71.30% (good). For the percentage of psychomotor domains in the first cycle 66.81% (good), increased in the second cycle 78.06% (very good) with an average percentage of cycle I and cycle II of 72.70% Based on the results of classroom action research conducted at the fourth grade of SDN 2 Dongos Jepara, it can be concluded that the application of role playing learning models is proven to be able to improve the learning outcomes of civic education learning students in the village government system. The role playing learning model is proven to improve student learning outcomes and make learning more fun, interesting, and more active students.
