Abstrak
English is an important language. In the latest curriculum, the independent curriculum in Vocational School mentioned that students are expected to use spoken. But many students have problem in speaking skill, especially in Al Islam Vocational School. The teaching of speaking skill is also important due to the large number of students who want to study English in order to be able to use English for communicative purposes. To help the students improve their speaking skills, the teacher should also implement a creative and interesting media. This study is determined to find out the significant effect of implementing Project Based Learning in Teaching Speaking Skill of Pharmacy Procedure by using Capcut Application at Eleventh Grade Students of Al Islam Vocational School in Academic Year 2023/2024. The method of this study is a quasi-experimental using non-equivalent control group design. Non-equivalent control group design is an experimental design that the sample does not choose randomly. Next reason for choosing this design is to search the effect of a variable on another variable. The populations of this study are eleventh grade students in pharmacy field of Al Islam Vocational School. The total population would be 55 students which is divided into 2 classes. The researcher used all population as a sample of the research. The results in the z-value -5,963, with the p-value is 0,000. It could be concluded that p-value (0,000) < α (5% = 0,05), so that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. It means that there is significant effect of implementing Project Based Learning in Teaching Speaking Skill of Pharmacy Procedure by using Capcut Application at Eleventh Grade Students of Al Islam Vocational School in Academic Year 2023/2024.
