Abstrak

The world of education is now increasingly advanced with school management or School Based Management (SBM) which will be effective if supported by professional human resources to operate the school, sufficient funds for the school to pay staff according to their duties and functions, adequate facilities and infrastructure to support full teaching and learning process, as well as community support (students' parents) who are very generous in terms of thought assistance and financial donations. The aims of this research are (1) to analyze the magnitude of the influence of the principal's leadership on the success of School Based Management (MBS) of State Elementary Schools in Jati District, Kudus Regency, (2) to analyze the magnitude of the role of school committees on the success of School Based Management (MBS) of State Elementary Schools in Jati District Kudus Regency, (3) analyzed the influence of the principal's leadership and the role of the school committee on the success of School Based Management (MBS) of State Elementary Schools in Jati District, Kudus Regency. This research uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. The research subjects were state elementary school teachers in Jati District, Kudus Regency, a total of 38 state elementary schools with a population of 280 ASN and PPPK teachers. The research sample consisted of 155 teachers. The sample size was determined using the Isaac and Michael formula. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire arranged in closed questions with 5 alternative Likert scale options. Testing of this research instrument uses validity tests and reliability tests so that the data produced is valid and reliable as a condition for proper questionnaire testing. This research data analysis uses multiple regression analysis using SPSS tools
