Abstrak

This research aims to describe (1) the intrinsic elements contained in the performance of Drama Cantik Itu Luka by Jesy Triangles, (2) the form of hybridity in the performance of Drama Cantik Itu Luka by Jesy Triangles, (3) the form of mimicry in the performance of Drama Cantik Itu Luka by Jesy Triangles, (4) Forms of Ambivalence in the Performance of the Drama Cantik Itu Luka by Jesy Triangles. This research discusses postcolonialism in the drama Cantik Itu Luka by Jesy Triangles. Postcolonialism itself is a form of literary sociology that studies the signs or consequences of colonialism. Postcolonial theory is important because it may reveal the problems behind the facts that once occurred. This research uses postcolonial theory, using postcolonial theory with the characters Young and Homi K. Bhaba, namely hybridity, mimicry and ambivalence. This research uses a qualitative description method with a sociological approach as a stage in the research. The data source in this research is the video in the performance of the drama Cantik Itu Luka by Jesy Triangle. Hybridity in the form of language, way of thinking and culture. Mimicry in the form of clothing, goods and lifestyle. Ambivalence in the form of social class. This research uses observation and note-taking data collection techniques. The data analysis used in this research is a data analysis method to obtain a description of the forms of hybridity, mimicry and ambivalence of postcolonialism in the drama Cantik Itu Luka by Jesy Triangle. The results of this research are intrinsic elements, hybridity, mimicry and ambivalence that exist in the performance of the drama Cantik Itu Luka by Jesy Segitiga. Intrinsic structure includes theme, characters/characterization, plot, setting, language, and message. Hybridity in the form of language has 4 data, ways of thinking come from 2 data and culture has 5 data. Mimicry in the form of clothes has 5 data, goods have 2 data and lifestyle has 3 data. Ambivalence in the form of social class has 1 data. In this solution, this research uses Homi K. Bhabha's postcolonial theory.
